I am starting off with a very loose plot and a general idea as to where I want the story to go. I already have the main character's name, which, as, clichéd as this sounds, came to me as I was waking up from a dream. I have no idea if I was dreaming about her (I highly doubt it) or what exactly my dream entailed but that's how she got her name.
Writing today was actually a lot of fun. I just typed whatever my brain told me to and at the end of the afternoon, I surpassed my target goal for the day! Alright! I'm on the right track. I wrote 1714 words and only 48,286 more to go!
